running ramblings: Sunset Cliffs/Point Loma

warning, if you don't give a rats fiddle (lefty wants one) about running, this is my disclaimer about how not excited you will be.)  Friday was an awesome day to run, althought it was chilly and windy out by sunset cliffs, it was beautiful and perfect for a long run. I started the run with Julian thinking, okay I'll do a 5 or 6 mile run, nothing too crazy. We ran up past sunset cliffs into the hills and up onto Point Loma Nazarene college, through it and past it and then to the other side- over by the harbor crossing Rosecrans and the 209 fwy. The views were beautiful, the harbor and ships were amazing, and after running up the insane hill in the middle, I loved the challenge of having gone up it without stopping!  By the time we were done it was almost 9pm and we had run 9 miles in an hour and 43 minutes which is pretty slow for me but its the first time I've run that much since last summer! :) I am so excited to do a race again!
